Your Embryos Can be PGT-A Tested In-house
In 2020 we opened a high-tech biomedical research and genetic diagnostics center – Genomics, with the main focus on reproductive genetics. At Genomics, you can perform PGT-A (previously known as PGS, pre-implementation genetic screening) genetic testing of embryos, to identify numerical chromosomal abnormalities (aneuploidy). PGT-A increases pregnancy rates and the likelihood of having a healthy baby. It also reduces miscarriage rates as surrogacy can be started by transferring a healthy embryo to the surrogate mother. Having this service available in-house has its own benefits as well. With us, the results of PGT-A / PGS screening are out in just a few days, which significantly reduces the entire IVF or Surrogacy journey times. Intended parents are also safe, that the biopsied material does not get stuck or get damaged on transportation.

LIKA CHKONIA
Founder, Director of ReproART
ReproART was founded by Lika Chkonia who has the most extensive experience with in vitro fertilization in Georgia (30 years) and 8 years of working in IVF Clinics in the USA. After Lika came back from the United States all the available techniques of ART became accessible for Georgian infertile patients. She is the first embryologist in Georgia who performed the first ICSI, ICSI using surgically retrieved sperm (fresh and frozen), FET with Vitrified/Warmed blastocyst, and PGT. Lika is a President of the Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology of Georgia and a Member of the PGT Consortium of ESHRE. Since 2022, Lika became a Coordinator of the Special Interest Group “Global and Socio-cultural Aspects of Infertility “ at ESHRE.
DAVID McCULLOCH
Director of Clinical Science at ReproART
David McCulloh, PhD, HCLD (High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director), C.C., serves as Director of Clinical Science at three branches (Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi) of the ReproART Georgian-American Center for Reproductive Medicine. At the same time, he leads the Andrology Laboratories at Biogenetics Corporation in New Jersey, the Sperm and Embryo Bank of New York in New York City, and the Biogenetics Laboratory in Brooklyn, NY. David McCulloh’s work experience includes directing ART (assisted reproductive technology) laboratories for three decades: NYUL Fertility Center in New York City, University Reproductive Associates in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey; Offices for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine, in Greenwich Village, New York; and the Fertility Institute at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, in Brooklyn, New York.
Genomics
An In-house biomedical research and genetic diagnostics center
Genomics was founded in 2020 by Reproart with the aim to help intended parents fulfilling their dream of having a healthy baby and create the family they always dreamt about. AT Genomics it is also possible to perform the PGT-A / PGS screening of embryos (pre-implementation genetic screening), giving parents an opportunity to understand the genetic health of an embryo prior to it being transferred to the uterus. Transferring PGT-A / PGS-tested embryos allow increased pregnancy rates with the likelihood of a healthy pregnancy and reduced risks of a miscarriage. In 2022, Genomics completed the certification process and received a certificate confirming the EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
